Glaze masterclass

In this course you will basically learn how to make your own glazes. You will:
- have a theoretical introduction to color in grazing
- find out about all the raw materials and their use
- deconstruct and reconstruct a base glaze recipe
- learn how to apply the glaze through spraying
It will consist of four separate workshops/classes which will take place at our studio in Delikipos, on the weekends of three consecutive weeks beginning:
24th of May: introduction and theory
25th of May: preparation of recipes
1st of June: application of the prepared glazes*
7th of June: presentation of the results and discussion
Cost of the masterclass (including all materials): 300€
Number of participants per masterclass: 6
All who attend this masterclass will also have access to the recipes developed during the previous one as each masterclass builds upon previous recipes. In this specific round we will be focusing on taking glossy glazes and turning them into satin and matt glazes.
* for this participants are asked to bring three pieces of their work made with high-temperature clay, up to 20cm big. If this is not possible for you for any reason let us know and we will provide some
**this is a course for high temperature firing glazes (1260°C) - all glazes are food safe
